About the 2017 Inspection Summit
The API Inspection Summit was designed with you in mind. This four-day summit includes three days of presentations spanning over 120 topics. Addressing issues involved in asset condition evaluation for drilling, production systems, pipelines, terminals, refining, chemical manufacturing and storage facilities. In addition, an optional day of training is conducted by subject matter experts. Each day focuses on presentations relevant to upstream, midstream, downstream operation and integrity management. API Inspection Summit provides an opportunity to learn about new and existing industry codes and standards, to hear about emerging trends from experts, and to discuss new and existing issues in inspection and AIM technology.
Natalia Cuenca serves as the Engineering Specialist for Pinnacle Advanced Reliability Technologies (PinnacleART) in Pasadena, Texas. In this role, she supports project teams in the development of corrosion studies for clients and also assists in developing solutions for technical problems related to corrosion and materials.
Natalia has more than four years of experience in the oil and gas industry. She joined PinnacleART as an Asset Integrity Analyst before becoming a Project Lead. The experience she gained in these positions helped prepare her for the Engineering Specialist role. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Georgia Institute of Technology in Polymer Engineering and holds API, 571 & 580 certifications.
Ryan Myers is an Operational Excellence Manager for Pinnacle Advanced Reliability Technologies (PinnacleART) in Pasadena, Texas. In his current role, he manages PinnacleART’s major process improvement projects, internal software development and the enhancement of complex external offerings. A critical team member, Ryan ensures the organization operates as efficiently and effectively as possible through the application of Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen and 5S principles to optimize business performance.
Ryan has more than three years of experience implementing comprehensive mechanical integrity and Risk-Based Inspection programs in the oil and gas downstream, midstream, petrochemical and mining industries. His experience in the upstream oil and gas industry includes the application of advanced mathematical simulations and decision analysis techniques in order to enable optimal business performance. Ryan has also lead technical engineering development efforts for multivariate statistical reliability models, corrosion modeling software applications and industry-leading corrosion monitoring location (CML) optimization techniques.
Ryan obtained his Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas in Mechanical Engineering as well as a minor in Business Foundations.
