Pasadena, TX – March 19, 2018

PinnacleART Senior Systems Specialist Stephen Flory will present at the 2018 Plant Maintenance, Inspection, and Engineering Society’s (PMIES) Expo on March 22, 2018 in Pasadena, TX.

The presentation titled, “Achieving the Full Potential of Meridium,” will provide attendees with key steps they can take today with their current Meridium platform as well as steps to take for future APM platform implementations.

The Meridium application is one of the top asset performance management software tools on the market with solutions for mechanical integrity, reliability, asset health, and environmental and safety. It has tremendous potential for return on investment but many of the application’s users have struggled with tapping into that potential.

Software implementation in a business environment can be a challenging process with many pitfalls and risks. Vendors tend to promote their solutions as the answer to all issues, but software users know the results tend to fall short of those expectations. Oftentimes, the blame is put on the software, yet it is typically the other activities around the software implementation that tend to have a larger effect on its success. This presentation will provide guidance on how to ensure you are getting the most value out of your software.

The purpose of PMIES is to provide a forum to share knowledge, create a networking relationship among interested parties, and provide technical programs that are meaningful and that emphasize the hands on aspect versus the theoretical side of Mechanical Engineering.
