CWEA Annual Conference 2020

October 27 @ 8:00 am - October 30 @ 5:00 pm

PinnacleART’s water & wastewater team will be spending the week close to home in Reno, Nevada exhibiting and presenting at the CWEA Annual Conference. Stop by and meet our Partner of Water Services, Paul Hughes, and Principal Reliability Consultant, Ralph Stevens, at booth #404 to learn more about how we can help your facility tackle challenges with an integrated, reliability-centered approach.

About the Conference

The California Water Environment Association (CWEA) has been hosting their annual conference for years to help make the California water sector a better place. For the first time ever, they are excited to be joining forces with the Nevada Water Environment Association (NAWA) to help bring together an even more expansive audience for a week full of learning opportunities and networking. The conference has something exciting going on everyday whether it be technical sessions, film festival, featured lunches, exhibition hall, workshops and more.

About Our Presentation

Join Ralph Stevens for, “What Does OSHA Really Require? Keeping up with Workplace Health and Safety.” Stay turned for our presentation date, time and location coming soon.

OSHA/CalOSHA regulations are in place to ensure that employees work under conditions where known hazards are communicated, mitigated, and reduced. As new hazards and standards are recognized, they become encoded in regulations, making keeping with OSH a major project. This presentation will provide an overview of current regulations.

About Ralph Stevens, SMRP, CESCP

He was Electrical Supervisor for Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago for over 30 years, supervising 70 employees and responsible for powering and maintaining all plant systems. As planner and scheduler for Clark County Water Reclamation in Nevada, he supervised capital projects. Mr. Stevens understands the importance of reliable assets and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs and has championed increased focus on maintenance, asset reliability, and asset management throughout his career.
