Pasadena, TX – April 20, 2018

PinnacleART’s second annual Care-A-Thon kicked off on Thursday, March 1, 2018, and lasted throughout the entire month of March. Hosted by PinnacleART’s Community Outreach team, PinnacleART’s Care-A-Thon event is a month-long competition among teams across the company to log the most volunteer hours.

During Care-A-Thon, employees were given many opportunities to volunteer with local community organizations and to participate in internal events held to gather donations. This year, 42 employees volunteered a total of 450 hours.

Teams were allowed to determine where they would like to distribute their volunteer time. Volunteer opportunities included:

  • High School Robotics Mentorship
  • Houston Open
  • Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
  • Bayou City Art Festival
  • Coastal Conservation Association
  • Gold Rush Active 20-30 Club
  • Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo
  • Houston Food Bank

In addition to volunteering with these organizations, PinnacleART hosted some internal events geared toward donating both funds and items.

Breakfast Tacos:

All proceeds go to The Bridge Over Troubled Waters. Total proceeds generated: $311
