PinnacleART congratulates Sudhakar Mahajanam for his recent publication through NACE International. Sudhakar Mahajanam, Senior Corrosion Specialist at PinnacleART, has published a compilation on CO2 corrosion, titled CorrCompilation: Mechanism of CO2 Corrosion. This compilation covers the subject of carbon dioxide corrosion mechanism, and features a collection of technical articles and conference papers published over the past 30 years.

The compilation is split into two volumes. Volume 1 focuses on the thermodynamics and kinetics of the corrosion process, and iron carbonate scale formation. Volume 2 addresses how the metallurgical and microstructural aspects of the steel play a role in this corrosion mechanism.

The compilation is available within the NACE International Store. NACE is the National Association of Corrosion Engineers. NACE’s mission is to equip society to protect people, assets and the environment from the adverse effects of corrosion.
