PinnacleART’s Solutions Analyst, Laura Hudson, and Operations & Maintenance Manager, Christian Miranda, are scheduled to present at the 34th annual Tri-State Seminar in Las Vegas, Nevada. The presentation titled “Building an In-House RCM Program:  Lessons Learned” will discuss challenges faced during two in-house RCM Implementations at small private facilities in California. Attendees will be able to walk away with concrete tools and suggestions to help improve overall O&M reliability with the knowledge of how to begin a successful RCM program at a facility. Paul and Christian are scheduled to present as a part of the Maintenance Track, session number 1506, on Tuesday, September 25th in Grand Ballroom B from 1:00pm-1:50pm.

About the Presenters

Paul HughesFor more than 20 years, Paul Hughes has served in a variety of positions in water and wastewater sales, business and product development, technical services and treatment plant operations, giving him a broad perspective on the water/waste water industry. As Director of Water Solutions for PinnacleART, Paul helps craft best-fit solutions for complex operations, maintenance, and reliability challenges; helps shape asset management programs for water/wastewater facilities; and manages the expansion of our services. Paul is an in-demand speaker and instructor who has taught classes at California State University, Sacramento for the Office of Water Programs, as well as speaking and presenting at a variety of water and wastewater conferences and conventions.

As Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manager for PinnacleART, Christian Miranda implements reliability programs from the ground level for clients within the water/wastewater industry. Most of his time is spent in the field overseeing O&M, contract operations, operator safety programs and technical training, and providing both engineering and process control support to contracted water/wastewater facilities. He also works with clients to optimize and replace aging assets through Capital Improvement Plans.

Christian’s experience and understanding of the interaction between engineering, operations, and maintenance required for smooth facility operation makes him fully equipped to provide strategic solutions to facility challenges that incorporate best practices and valid technical approaches.
